1976 MANCHESTER VINTAGE WASH T-SHIRT
June 4th 1976 - Manchester, Lesser Free Trade Hall
The Pistols first ever show in Manchester and the now legendary show that inspired a city forever. Hundreds have claimed to be there, but in reality never were. The lucky few who were went onto form the likes of Joy Division, The Fall, The Smiths, and even Simply Red and ABC.
The show has also spawned several books and documentaries. Actual footage of the show (filmed by Howard Devoto of Buzzcocks) was later woven into the 2002 Tony Wilson bio film 24 Hour Party People.
The shirt features the original flyer / poster for the show.
